Thanks for saying what so many of us are thinking Mr. Leighty and for saying it so clearly. It's incredibly frustrating to watch as opportunities to grow and improve our city slip by while the comp plan gathers dust.... not only are we going to continue to lose companies to other cities with better quality of life, we're going to lose many Tulsan's who want to live in those cities as well. In addition, good corporate citizens are committed to the cities in which they live - it's a truly symbiotic relationship. Not one based on threats and bribes. Let them go I say and lets invest in the entrepreneurship program put forward by Sean Griffin and grow some new businesses with roots in Tulsa who care as much about the city's future as we do.

I'll take a visionary, forward thinking plan that nurtures the great things about Tulsa and builds for our future. While we're at it, I'll take investment that will provide a beautiful, livable, progressive city with great quality of life for those of us that do live here and aren't going anywhere. Please and thank you.

No rail anytime soon? Boo. Not good news. Did they say whether or not rail transit between Tulsa and OKC, or Tulsa and KC (or anywhere else) is at least in the works? At $4/$1 somebody's going to get some subsidized service -would sure love it if it were Tulsa....
