Texas and Florida, New Hampshire and a few more states don't have state income taxes but the tax burden falls on property owners to a terrible degree, making home and land ownership punitive. It would be better to remove taxes from food and prescriptions. All other purchases are elective.

These studies by experts continue to treat us, our lives and habits like lab rats. When are they going to stop looking at us as money dispensing machines and represent us and our interests in our state legislature? No hope of that in D.C. but here at home? REALLY! I think while they're banning french fries and sodas, etc., they should ban "studies" involving people. It's really invasive and they're looking for ways to pick our pockets because we are like gum machines to them. Put a penny in and we spit out some goodies for them. Disgusting!
