@ leelee13.... If an honest review of a place, negative or positive, gets you butt hurt, i'm sure you can come up with something better than that. And I want places on the riverwalk to work. It's hard when they're paying thirty grand in rent, though. I managed a bar that didn't work on the riverwalk, Overhead is a killer there. Another thing that doesn't help, being disorganized. The Grille simply doesn't have it yet. Granted, it is a new place, and hopefully they changed some of the staff since I was there. Word of mouth can make or break you, and having a bunch of servers and bartenders not like your place is a much bigger deal than one might think. We spend a lot of money at places we like and places we don't like we try to run into the ground. I don't know why that is but if you can't give decent service to people you know will tip you well, might as well be begging to not have a job anymore. To each his own, and if you've had good service there, lucky you. I was stating what happened with my friends and I every time we've been there. I wouldn't suggest the place any more than billy sims bbq. Again, good idea, but they'll be shutting the doors soon unless they're investors have enough money to wait for the places south of the bridge to be built.

@Mirriod918 The service at The Grille is awful. Not once, not twice, but more than five times i've been there it has always been poor. The food is good but a little overpriced for the "atmosphere." If it's not fine dining food, don't charge fine dining prices. You're probably one of the owners getting upset about an accurate review of your workers. My friends and I are all bartenders and servers, If we don't like the service it's hard to imagine normal people would. We're ten times more understanding and easy to deal with than a regular customer. Saying that, waiting ten minutes on a drink anywhere is ridiculous. Especially when it's not even that busy in there. If waiting for a ten minute drink isn't bad, waiting to order another one is. The service doesn't need help, it needs Jesus. Cool concept for a place and the enormity of the room reminds me of a Texas bar yes...minus the atmosphere, people, and service that you would get at a good bar. And sure, there's a good selection of beer and alcohol...The price of each drink depends on who you recieve it from though. Overall, it's a decent idea but it fails miserably. You may enjoy watching two bands play for an enormous crowd of 100. It's not everyone's cup of tea though. If you are an owner, take this as a suggestion, get a new staff or train them better.
