I love this story and agree wholeheartedly with every bit except the part about the Common Cause Ok registry. I ran to represent state house district 23 this year and tried to join that no-gift registry. As the former Tulsa coordinator of MoveOn.org this subject is right up my alley but I could never get on the list. Here is my comment on the blog Blue Oklahoma to a similar statement about that list.
Joining the "No Gift" List
I have been trying to join the list with no luck. I wrote an email about 3 days ago with no response.I tried calling Common Cause Oklahoma today and the number was no longer good.
If anyone knows how to reach Common Cause Oklahoma please let me know because getting big corporate money out of government has been one of my major concerns for some time.
