People here still speak about Avatar usuly about how strongly they relate to its symbolic story and how it opened there eyes to very "real" issues our actions bring to peoples around the world. There seems to be a movement to "discredit" the film by other film makers, just do a search on Avatar at the 2009 oscars and you will understand.
