It has been grievous to me the destruction of Tulsa, once known for "the cleanest city". The family sense once was strong downtown as well as the spreading of shopping centers and mid-town malls. Our city was family centered with many midtown activities and annual park activities such as the magnificent annual kite flying. The shuffling of the city has brought little to family events unless you play soccer or baseball, and that cost. Downtown has been turned into one huge outdoor/ indoor bar city- including the half-sized baseball stadium. Fortunately, we can still look forward to the annual Lighting of Utica Square on Thanksgiving Eve-and it's still FREE.
