I don't think this is going to any affect on the rates of alcoholism in our state. People who abuse alcohol will find a way to get it regardless of where the rest of us buy it! Oklahoma is so archaic in our laws and views on this topic. I lived in TX for several years and found that because there was more competition in the sales of wine, the prices were much better than OK. As a consumer, it would be more convenient to be able to buy a bottle of wine for a nice meal at home while I'm shopping for groceries instead of having to go to the liquor store first or later. I prefer one-stop shopping. For crying out loud, if I can openly carry a gun then why the heck can't I buy my wine where I want to buy it and be forced to get it at a package store that marks it up to the point of being ridiculous? Get with it OK!
