The Jazz Hall is a nice idea, but an extremely poor venue for live music. Remember, it was a train depot. It sound like a train depot. Much more consideration should have been given towards the acoustics of the room. I know, they hired an acoustician to make recommendations, but some rooms are just not applicable for live music. Lose the band alcove on the South wall. It just turns everything to "mush". Set up groups on the East or West end of the room. The long way. For long throw of sound. Hang some baffles, or traps to prevent bounce... Then you might have a venue worthy of live music. Great facility, but for what application
