I have a relative who works for TPD and the only mayor of the last 3 that I have heard him say anything good about was Kathy Taylor. She screwed Chief Bean over (or finished the screwover started by LaFortune), but was always right on top of the needs of TPD, from what I am told. Bartlett on the other hand, has been unnecessarily difficult with TPD, and not earned the respect of the FOP.
Bill Christiansen is probably the only candidate in the race who I would get off my @$$ to go vote for, however. I do not believe his motives for being in politics to be entirely unselfish, however of these three he is clearly the least self-interested. He is also the only one of the three who has ever made a dime of his own money.
