This was a well-written article and Katharine Kelly makes some good observations, but my problem is she completely avoided the "roller" section of the food area so this is not necessarily a complete picture of everything. (They also make pizzas to order now as well.) However, the biggest problem I had with this article is the comparison to Whole Foods. I mean, of course Whole Foods tastes better!! It's Whole Foods! Is there even really a comparison between gas station fare and Whole Foods? If you want to compare taste then QT will lose every time. The reason why QT kitchen's items are so popular is because QT's are so ubiquitous, whereas there is only 1 Whole Foods (currently). It is all about location, location, location! I know that I personally don't have time to drive clear across town to Whole Foods when I need a quick bite. It seems like such an illogical comparison, so I just do not understand why she picked Whole Foods and not a more closely related chain, such as a fast food restaurant.
