There are plenty of other alternatives that have that historic old timey look and have a softer glow that actually light the sidewalks. Second sentence....^ "The buildings were lit by a soft glow" Sounds nice.
I live near the new OU Tulsa campus on 41st and Yale. The campus is being slowly obscured from view as more and more acorn lights are added, surrounding it in a wall of glaring light."
