Progression isn't always pleasant but it's neccessary if we want to secure opportunities in a modern society for our children and grandchildren. No amount of money and no amount of land will heal the wounds of the past. Have Native Americans become so spoiled, that we have forgotten the true message that was being conveyed to us through the tears of our anscestors? They walked the trail and shed the tears; for what? For us to relive their pain and suffering on a daily basis? For us to play the blame game for our entire lives? OR did they endure the trail of tears to prove that Native Americans can and will succeed regardless of their circumstances."
