Having said that I now say this: Heeeey. The big rectangle in the floorboard is a BRAKE. You depress it with the foot you remove from the accelorator. The slowing down of the vehicle that was bearing down on your @$# at a rate of speed equal to your own is a beautiful thing to behold in a rearview mirror."
