"I would just like to point out, that "Pink Roc Bar" at 18th and Boston, owes several people a PUBLIC appology.
They ran an ad on 106.9 for Tulsa's "first ever burlesque show".
HA! Come on now, we all know thats not true. I believe Tulsa's burlesque scene began 7 years ago with the Spiderlillies, and years later hosted a very successful and known group called "Eye Candy Burlesque". Boasting 3 ABOT awards, The Tulsa Hot 100 list 3 years in a row, and countless ,mentions in this and other publications...and even appearing on Ben Sumner! When confronted, they apparently just "threw it together". and were sorry. At least that was the answer only one of several people got. The rest of us were blown off. Anyhow, Come with it pinky.
