sandtrout, 6/30/2010 - 8:43pm "I moved here from Phoenix which has had a recycling program for years. There is still twice a week pickup, however one pickup is trash & the other is recyclables. They also use one-man automated trucks for both pickups. Every household gets two bins the same size, green for trash & blue for recycling. Not sure what size, prob 96 gal. Yard waste is put with regular trash or held for quarterly uncontained trash pickup. Was amazed that Tulsa doesn't use automated trucks. Manual pickup is much more costly and slower."
