"Have you ever felt that banging your head against a wall will make more progress. It is completely immoral, unpatriotic and downright cruel that we have (in the richest county in the world [supposedly]) the top 1% sitting on stacks of cash, while 1/3 Americans lives in poverty. While we have rampant homelessness (there are varying statistics on exactly how many, because that's how much we care about them. But we do know that 500,000 of them are veterans, and 1,600,000 are children). What is it with these greedy people who claim to love this country. If they really loved America as much as they say they do, they wouldn't have multiple houses while some people don't have a single one. I know that if I were pulling in $1,000,000+, I would gladly let it be taxed at 50% if it would eliminate hunger and homelessness. If the $7.77 TRILLION that went to bailout the banks were given to those living in poverty instead (remember 1/3 Americans), they would EACH receive a check for $77,700. You just gotta love capitalism and how it lets the "free market" decide."
