"The author struggles to make the city council all about black vs white with her wording. She must not pay attention, or know any of the individuals on that council, as their main priority is reviving business downtown and elsewhere, not petty race problems. She also fails to mention that many of the locally owned business owners on the north side of the tracks, who are black, have complained that with the renaming of the street to MLK Blvd, that they will not be able to afford changing their address on all of their cards, signs, storefronts and bill stationary. Henderson kept pushing the renaming of the street as a re-election issue. It has worked. Renaming Cincinnati will cost, by Henderson's own projections, well over $100,000 of taxpayer money. Money that could have been used to keep open the parks in North Tulsa. The voters in North Tulsa should vote him out."
