Jody Johnson, 5/ 3/2012 - 10:10am "The author never includes all the facts. In her article called Amazing Grace. She labeled the white man who was protesting the killing of a white woman by a black man as a protest crasher. Really, does he not have the right to protest anytime he feels like it too! Someone in the crowd yelled "This is about what happened on the northside. This isn't about what your're talkin' about." Well, excuse me, but Mr. Strait lived in north Tulsa. Did the author even mention that? NO! And yet she quoted what another person yelled "Yeah, that black guy beat them people, but he didn't kill them like that" Really! It matters how you are killed not just that you are dead? Mrs. Strait suffered a painful death at the hands of her black killers. Yet, the author didn't even mention that it was also a murder. She left you thinking that Mrs. Strait was just beaten because that's what someone told her! And while you are quoting numbers - do some research! How many black are there in Tulsa County and how many whites are there in Tulsa County? And of all the crime commited in Tulsa County how many are commited by blacks and how many are committed by whites? And who in the FBI decides what is racially motivated? If a black person is killed the blacks protest, march and complain at every opportunity. But white people don't march, protest, and complain about every crime that is commited by a black person and call it "racially motivated. Why is Mrs. Strait's murder not considered "racially motivated"? Where were Mr. Jackson and Mr. Sharpton then? I tell you in my opinion the reason north Tulsa is so unhappy is because they want to blame everyone else for their problems when the answer is taking responsiblity for yourself. And this author with partial facts is no better than Jackson and Sharpton - just stirring the racist pot."
