Don B, 7/11/2013 - 8:19pm "Don't buy Walmart grapes
This afternoon I bought 2 pounds of the $1.98 red grapes at Walmart Neighborhood Market in Brookside. They looked OK in the store, but when I got them home, I found they were all spoiled. Some of them were even brown. Even the ones that were firm and red tasted bad. I've bought lousy apples, celery and cabbage there, too.
That's often the trouble with Walmart and Sam's; when the fruit and vegetables spoil, they don't throw them out. They just lower the price and let their customers get rid of them.
And I've noticed Walmart raising the price on something and calling it a rollback. From what? When they listed it two cents higher?
Excuse me. I need to lay down. I don't feel so good."
