The assertion that Kathy Taylor made the settlement to cover the banks execs is a bit silly, and baseless. Stating that she did so simply because she was once on the bank's board is a gross assumption at best. The bank was defauded by their loan being falsely collateralized, and the TAIT trust is culpable for being the actual borrower who then distributed the funds to GPA. In my opinion the city also be culpable for providing collateral that it didn't have to offer. Though many in our city government may have been opposed to the action, then mayor Kathy Taylor was acting as an agent for the city."
