Kel, 7/14/2008 - 2:36pm "Wow, I have always enjoyed Urban Tulsa. I am very disapointed in this artical. You forgot the one thing that makes the biggest impact. You need to talk to the parents and students. The reasons to get sent to TAC were numerous and ridicules. The requirements to get out of TAC were always changing. Mr. Z knew of the rules and violence problems in October, I talked to Mr. Z myself. Whether Andrea (TW) could fit every detail in every article or not, TAC was a disaster. Many of the students assigned to TAC had no review or recourse. Some students did nothing wrong at all. If you are going to let Mr. Z blame people you (Urban Tulsa) need to talk to the people Mr. Z is blaming before printing your article.
If you want to run a helpful article it needs to be on why TAC is not centrally located or why the high schools in Tulsa can’t discipline their own students. Union, Jenks, BA, Owasso, Sand springs, seem to handle real problems within their walls. Why cant Tulsa high schools. Ask Zokoski that. This was a real bad thing don’t try to make TAC seem safe or right on any level."
