TCB seeming has studied, or has access to a copy of the City Charter (must be either a current or retired city employee, or an ex-city councilor), but what does it have to do with the guest editorial "Sanctuary City"?
I know the author of that editorial opinion piece very well, and he is a RETIRED CHIEF OFFICER, who served the citizens of Tulsa for about thirty years. He retired due to a critical fireground injury, while serving the citizens of the city he loves. He no longer has to worry about restrictions of his constitutional right to free speech, and speaks out about inept politicians of both political parties. I am very pleased that this information about Barnes was shared with the readers of UTW, many of which reside in City Council District 4. It was very eye opening. I only wish more good samaritans with "insider" information would speak out about those who do not represent the interests of the majority of law-abiding Tulsa taxpayers, who are AMERICAN CITIZENS."
