Let's reward the dysfunctional who use credit unwisely and rack up bills they can't pay. Let's reward government, which forced these evil financial institutions into predatory lending to borrowers who were not credit-worthy. In tandem with the government-run boondoogle known as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, this became the tinder that touched off the financial meltdown.
So the U.S. financial system is perceived as a bunch of fat-cat, lying, corrupt shysters who rake in the cash and ride roughshod over the weak and helpless?
