TruthinTulsa, 8/ 1/2010 - 8:32am "There are two types of orders, one is a restraining order, the other is a protective order. Restraining orders are civil orders and CANNOT be enforced by the Police. Protective orders are the only type of those two orders that can be enforced by means of arrest. This is a common misconception by the public. The public is not aware usually and they fail to do their homework before seeking court orders against domestic partners, etc etc.. Might want to ask your attorney why he/she didn't file for a protective order instead? Now, lets see if your as quick to apologize for hammering the Police for something they know about and you obviously do not."
