Poke78, 10/21/2010 - 11:18am "Two points on Mayor Bartlett's 10/20 column:
1) The Mayor was not well-served by his word processor, knowledge of the English language, or the UTW editorial staff. "Principal(s)" was used 5 times when the correct word was "principle(s)". Draw what conclusions you will...
2) The Mayor's minimalist response to OKC as a glaring counterpoint to his argument for the Mayor-Council government form is interesting. I'd like to have him detail how the difference in the employment of the citizens in OKC allows them to have a city government that serves the citizens rather than the egos of those elected to serve.
Full disclosure: I lived in OKC from 1981-2009 but now live in Sand Springs. However,in a metropolitan area, nearly everybody's economic well-being is tied to the primary city and its political climate. On that basis, I believe I am qualified to offer comments and observations."
