""Instead of feeling forced or formulaic, the songs have a natural flow to them.." Who are we kidding?! Beau Tyler's writing is cookie cutter pop clean, presented in the same flavours in different dishes. This is Beau's third project, using the same songs from previous bands, some in the same arrangement and representing them. This isn't a "new" band. I've heard it before and so has anyone thats listened to contemporary pop radio. Saying it has an alternative feel is a far stretch. Playing living room shows isnt anything new either, again; SAME FORMULA. Beau Tyler, or for everyone else Beau Bretz; does the same thing over and over. His last band Rescue Signals, did the same thing, and that went nowhere. How can you as a music writer say it has an organic feel!?! Nothing is further from the truth. Over produced, over rated. If Beau Tyler put as much energy into being "real," as he naturally does at being a fake, maybe he could move a few units. Beau will tell you he changed his name for the sake of adoption, but in all reality its because he burned so many bridges with local and national indutry people he tried to reinvent himself, all the while looking like a fool to everyone else. Id rather download the Y2k virus than put this on my ipod. Stop having your friends "review," your music. A biased review and a crummy one at most."
