Jim29673, 7/18/2013 - 10:37am "I am a 49 year old white male with a felony conviction considered violent and most serious since March 6, 2003. I got out of prison on December 1, 2009 and have been desperately searching for employment here in Greenville, South Carolina. The EEOC in Wasington, DC in January of 2013 handed down a new 'MEMO' to all employers informing them that as long as the job applied for does not pertain or relate to the charge or conviction, that the employer must give equal consideration across the board. Yet, this new 'MEMO' is not being enforced. WHY ???????"
