ktorrent, 1/30/2013 - 10:08am "I strongly support Bill Christiansen and equally oppose both Bartlett and Taylor. Christiansen is listening--intently, ardently and his background in aviation naturally causes him to be approachable by people of all backgrounds. That's the nature of life on the airport. He is also a self-made man. Bartlett is out of step with Tulsans with his cuts to the police budget. His other initiatives seem ill placed. His wife touts tutoring, but in my neighborhood, I can't bring English tutors in because the teachers are afraid of the gangs. I have suffered directly because of poor 911 response. I think in Taylor's case, it is immensely important to look back and recognize the cronyism there and her smug aloofness. Taylor was NOT accessible to anyone but those elites radiating out from Kaiser. I am hearing that she fully supports Obamacare and Obama himself. I suspect retaking the mayor's office for her is about schmoozing with the White House and more power brokering--none of which gives Tulsans access to city infrastructure. She is a formidable imposition, but I can't see her as good for Tulsa. Christiansenhas real depth. I want to hear more from him in all areas."
